Enrollment
Yes, it is! We have year-round enrollment.
Simply follow this link! You’ll be prompted to sign your child up through our Parent Portal and enroll them in a class. If you have been a member of Riverside Gymnastics previously, log in to your Parent Portal using your email. Be sure to contact us if you have any questions!
At this time, we are unable to provide in person enrollment. If there is absolutely no way for you to enroll your child through this website, call the office, and we’ll work with you.
You can log in to your Parent Portal here.
Class Levels
Put your child on a waitlist! Not only will that allow us to contact you as soon as we have an opening, but it allows us to reevaluate our classes.
Contact the office, and we’ll help you find out! Our girls gymnastic classes progress as such:
Beginner (Beginner 1)
Advanced Beginner (Beginner 2)
Intermediate
Advanced
Generally, if your child has more than a year of experience at another gym, we may want to evaluate them and decide what class level is a better fit for them. After our advanced level, your child may be considered for our team if this is of interest to you. However, our team is invitational-only.
Our instructors are continually working to help our gymnasts improve their skills. We have regular evaluations to make sure our gymnasts are in the right class for their level!
Do you suspect your child is in the wrong level for their skills? Contact the office! We’ll either arrange time for an evaluation or fill you in on how close your child is to a move-up.

Costs
Tuition starts at $72/month for a weekly 40-minute preschool-level class, and the most advanced level pays $175/month for a twice a week high-level class. Most of our regular recreational classes are $77/month for a weekly class. Please contact the office for details on tuition.
We have a yearly membership fee which is billed when a child first registers and then every September for continuing students. It is $55 for the first child in a family, $45 for the second child, and free for any additional children. This covers registration costs and liability/medical insurance.
A credit card must be on file for all client accounts. To simplify the process, our system requires it upon enrollment. However, you are welcome to select the “self-pay” option.
As long as you pay before the 15th of the month, or contact the office to alert them of a different pay date, we will not run your card.
If your child is on a waitlist or otherwise not enrolled in a class, we will not run your card.
You are also welcome to have your card automatically run on the 1st, 10th, or 15th (choose self-pay option) of every month while your child is enrolled in classes.
Scholarships & Emails
Please check out our scholarship page.
Tuition statements are sent electronically on the 1st of each month. A current email address is required to be on file with the office.
Sometimes emails from our system go into the spam folder, so that’s the first place to check! If you find an email from us in the spam folder, be sure to remove it and let your email provider know that you want us in your main inbox folder. If you’re still having troubles, contact the office. We’ll try to help you figure it out!
Before the Class
Girls Gymnastics: A leotard is required for all ages and levels of gymnastic students. Sport shorts, leggings, or warm-up pants and/or a shirt/tank-top can be worn over the leotard.
Boys Gymnastics: T-shirts, shorts (no jean material), or warm-up pants.
All Students: Long hair must be pulled back and secured. No belts, snaps, buckles, zippers, or rivets. The only jewelry allowed is ear studs.
Water bottles are encouraged, but they must contain only water; no sports drinks, juice, or soft drinks.
No food is allowed in the gym area.
We have them for sale in the gym. We have a variety of sizes, new and used. The new ones are generally $25-$40 while the used ones are generally under $25 – usually $15-$20.
Note: for used leotards, we can only take cash or check. For new ones, we can take cash, check, or card.
Parking is available on the southeast side of the RGA building. Because our parking is limited, overflow parking is available across Bargeway Road in the field adjacent to the UPS Customer Center. Please do not park on Bargeway Road or River Road or block the vehicles and entrance of our neighbors at Devco Mechanical Inc.
Parents or students need to mark there students as present in the designated check-in book at the front table
Cubbies are available for students in the gym for storage of shoes, jackets, and water bottles. The person who checks them in will direct them to a cubby and then to the waiting area where their teacher will collect them.
Students are asked to wait in the designated space prior to class. Students are NOT allowed to practice their skills at this time. At class time, instructors will greet students and lead them on to the gym floor.
During & After Class
Yes, parents are allowed to sit and watch their child’s class. However, please be aware our seating can be limited, especially on busy days. Parents are NOT allowed on the gym floor for any purposes.
Unless a parent is required to stay (usually for ages three and under), we encourage parents to drop their children off for class.
Upon completion of the class, the students will be brought to the back door on the east side of the building to be brought up.
Please be prompt when picking up your student at the end of class.
If you have any questions about the class, please contact us. You are also welcome to step into the office.
If your student misses their regularly scheduled class, as a courtesy, we will be offering makeup classes.
We do not have definite makeup class times scheduled yet. Please contact the office if you are looking for makeup classes for your child. Extenuating circumstances will be considered. Riverside does not prorate for missed classes or vacations. Unused classes may not be applied toward tuition payments.
Closures and Unenrollments
Unlike public and private schools, we are only closed for major holidays such as Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break. Please keep an eye on your email where we will notify parents of any intended closures.
If the North Wasco County School District 21 is closed due to weather, classes will be cancelled. Please check your email as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages and our events page to make sure we are open during heavy snow, smoke, or other dangerous conditions.
Contact the office via phone or email and let us know. You are not able to unenroll your child through your Parent Portal yourself. If you do not hear back from us, this could mean your email or message didn’t go through. Try making contact again to ensure that we received your message! Please note that we require 30-days prior notice to unenroll. Tuition will not be prorated if the child is removed from classes mid-month.
After a month or more has elapsed since your child has attended classes, and we have not been able to contact you via phone, email, or text, we will remove your child from classes. Note that we will not remove charges for classes your child did not attend. You must officially unenroll your child if you wish to avoid further charges, including late fees. After repeated attempts to contact you have failed, we will take your account to collections.
If you are expecting to be absent from classes, please let the office know!
As long as we receive monthly tuition payments we can hold your child’s spot in class, regardless of if they show up or not. We cannot hold a spot open for any period of time without tuition payment. You are free to unenroll and re-enroll at any time with proper notice, but we cannot guarantee the same spot back in the future. Injuries and family emergencies will be taken into consideration.
